Staff of the Institute of Distance Education of TSU is actively involved in scientific work: Annually, at least 20 scientific and research and methodological papers are published; employees of the Institute take part in Russian and international conferences and exhibitions, almost 50% of the Institute’s employees upgrade their qualification by participating in training courses and seminars and undertaking internships based on individual education plans. The Institute of Distance Education regularly holds internal research and methodological seminars for the employees.
