Acceleration of Programs of Hybrid and Online Education at TSU

The Project “Acceleration of Programs of Hybrid and Online Education at TSU” succeeds the Project “Implementation of Educational Online Projects at TSU” implemented within the 2015~2020 period as part of TSU competitiveness improvement program. The project provides for content design and processing stages (including production and import of educational resources and technologies) and launch of programs — in the online format (2 programs) and in the hybrid learning format (8 programs). In the course of project implementation, TSU developed replicable models of hybrid and online learning which can be further scaled to other university programs.

Project purpose:

  1. Education quality improvement and optimization of educational process organization at the University through implementation of online Master’s degree programs.
  2. Education quality improvement and optimization of educational process organization at the University through integration of hybrid learning models enabling costs reduction and increase of profitability of educational programs.

Project objectives:

  • Team formation for program design and support (online program training office).
  • Upgrading of local regulatory framework in the sphere of online learning and hybrid learning at TSU.
  • Formation of at least 12 teams for educational programs (program directors, managers, key teachers) for training in educational program design considering the requirements of modern pedagogical design and digital didactics, and further participation in competitive selection of pilot programs planned for implementation in the hybrid learning format.

  • Development of program competitive selection criteria for hybrid learning model validation.
  • Organization of competitive selection of at least 8 programs.
  • Delivery of training in discipline design in the format of hybrid and online learning (for teachers of pre-qualified educational programs) for online Master’s degree programs and pilot programs planned for implementation in the hybrid learning format.
  • Online Master’s degree program design.
  • Consultancy support of design of programs planned for implementation in the hybrid learning format.
  • Production/import of digital educational content for details of the online Master’s degree programs and pilot programs planned for implementation in the hybrid learning format.
  • Selection of online platforms for organization of the educational process of the online Master’s degree programs and pilot programs planned for implementation in the hybrid learning format.
