IDO staff published an article on the competencies necessary for MOOC learners29.03.2018
The 12th annual International Technology, Education and Development INTED 2018 took place in Valencia (Spain) from 5 to 7 March. Delegation of more than 75 countries came here to discuss the change of education in modern realities (therefore the title of the conference is Rethinking Learning in a Connected Age).
A team of authors from TSU (Irina Malkova, Olesya Babanskaya, Ulyana Zakharova, Elena Ryltseva, Galina Mozhaeva and Kristina Tanasenko) took part in the conference with the report "Identifying competencies for taking online courses successfully". The paper shows the results of the survey taken by 2060 learners of Tomsk State University online courses. Based on their answers a group of general cultural and professional competences has been revealed.
